Propeller

For efficiency and safety a large slow turning propeller is the best. We have opted for a propeller of 1850mm diameter turning at just 250rpm. The primary advantages of this are greater bite in the water and less vibration imparted to the hull. The propeller is made form nickel aluminium bronze because of its superior strength and corrosion resistance.

To further assist in mitigating vibration we have employed specialists to design the propeller incorporating features such as, five highly skewed blades and anti singing edges.
